For Lou Calabrese, life should be good. Her screenwriting career has made her tons of money, and brought her attention from both the Copkiller series and Hindenburg, some of her most famous sceenplays. But it's not. Her ex, a famous actor named Barry, ran off and eloped with Jack Townsend's ex. Now, this wouldn't be that bad, but Jack Townshend happens to be the moodiest, not to mention cutest, star in Hollywood. Lou's quality of life declines even more when she is in a helicopter crash and gets stranded in the middle of nowhere in a blizzard with the very own, Jack Townsend. For any other girl, this would be heaven. But Lou is not any other girl. To her, Jack is a selfish actor thinks the world revolves around him. At the beginning of this horrid journey, Lou and Jack keep their distance. But when they actually start to like each other, while they are stranded in the middle of nowhere with no one else around, well...things get interesting.

I chose this book as my runner-up because it is funny, lighthearted, and it makes you forget your problems. Unlike some other books (Jodi Picoult books), this is a quick and fun read. Too many dark, deep, emotion-protruding books can make you bored. This book can lighten you spirits and make you laugh!
